LRC-RJ's State Circuit of Rap Battles is the biggest rapping tournament of the state of Rio de Janeiro. It involves 64 local competitions at 26 different cities to determine who is the best rapper of the state, that will be later on sent to compete on Brazil's National Rapping Championship.
I've created and developed the visual identity of it's third edition, that would happen in 2020 but had to be put on hold because of covid-19.

Headlines play with usual chants from rap battles in Brazil:
- “Terceiro! Terceiro! Terceiro!”
(”Third! Third! Third!”)
is screamed by the crowd when they think the battle must go to a third round. A perfect fit to announce the 3rd Edition of the Circuit.
- “Se tu ama essa cultura como eu amo essa cultura, grita ‘Hip Hop!’ ”
(”If you love this culture as I love this culture, shout out ‘Hip Hop!’ ” )
We altered the final bit of this iconic hype chant that event hosts use in battles to instead say “Come with us!”.
