Hi, I’m Victor Mattoni.
A Brazilian with Italian citizenship currently living in Düsseldorf, Germany, as part of my journey abroad since 2021.

I'm an Art Director by profession, Graphic Designer by formation, Illustrator by hobbie and AI experimentalist with a wide range of AI tools.

I have great experience collaborating in multicultural teams, bringing projects together alongside professionals from over 30 nationalities.

Throughout my career, I have delivered national and international campaigns for both Brazilian and European markets, with clients across a wide range of sectors, including: Home Care, Beauty, Government, Nicotine, Supermarkets, Shopping Malls, Music, Fast Cars and Rap Battle Events, among others.

FUN FACTS:

— THE IMPROVISED CONTESTER —

I practiced theatrical improvisation during my first semester of college. Five years later, I happened to play by chance in the Rio de Janeiro Improvisation Championship: one of the members of a team couldn’t go and they needed a substitute in order to stay in the competition. I had gone as an espectator, ended up as a player.
I  am very fond of this kind of drama play and the techniques come in hand a lot.



— THE 6 Y.O. PROFESSIONAL —

I can say that I started working in the creative business  when I was 6.
I had a classmate who loved my drawings so much, that he proposed to give me one of his Action Figures in exchange for one of my illustrations.
Later at home, my mother asked me where I’d got that rad new toy and made me give it back to him when she heard the story.

It was a highly articulated not a cheap figure.



— A CONSTRUCTIVE SURNAME —

“Mattoni” means “Bricks” in italian.
The family name was originally “Maltoni”, but someone mispelled it when registering my grandfathers name at the notary's office in Brazil and a new family line was born, growing brick by brick with each new member.
